We do hereby Certify, that William Strickland, lost a horse appraised by P. B. Dexter and Aensless to be worth two hundred and fifty dollars, also one other horse worth Sixty five dollars, on the 27th ultimo, in the Service of Texas, -also M. M. Railey, one horse appraised by the above named lo be worth 300 dollars, and one other horse appraised by us al 50 dollars,- John Dowd, one horse appraised by the same to be worth 200 dollars, James Steen one horse appraised by the same to be worth 500 dollars, and one mule appraised by us lo be worth 65 dollars.- J. S. Munce one horse appraised hy the same to be worth 175 doUars and A. C. Coffin, one horse appraised by the same to be worth $180 doUars, and the -'lississippi; Volunteers one horse appraised by the same to be worth 200 dollars, and one mule appraised by us to he worth 50 dollars and F. G. Golightly one horse appraised by the same to be worth 150 dollars, and one mule and rigging appraised by us to be worth 110 dollars all of which horses & mules we certify were unavoidably lost in the service of Texas,
