To Thomas Toby Esq & To T Toby & Brother Gentn.

I enclose you a bill of supplies required for the Army. If our latest intelUgence from the west be correct, they will be imperatlvely and immediately wanted and I beg you will pul in requisition every available means lo furnish them. It is important to make the shipments in vessels not drawing more than seven feel loaded; you will please order them lo touch at Galveston to receive orders. It is possible they may be discharged there and required to go no further and you will regulate the affreightment accordingly.
