WHARTON, [BRAZORIA] Mouth the Brassos June the 20 Friend Wharton Some dispatches has arrived this morning from-Whuch I learn that Bradburn has taken 14 Americans and made them prisoners-- their- fate went harde-as it apeared Yesterday by Capt. Austin that hostilatys have stoped and the people all returning home anrl Satisfied merely to pe-tition to General Teran for peace &c-I think as the Blow has been Struck and .at.the Root of all Evil that Exist in this Colony betwixt the 1\Iilitary and Civil that they have stoped at a peorriod Which will leave room for worse opressions-of this you have a better Idea-there leaves this day 25 soldiers for-Wbuch [ ¥]-to the assistance of that hated scoundre1---Should you think proper to send word to town I give you this Information With Respect I remain Yours JS['] Brown l\fr.
