DEAR Sm agreable to your instn1ctions to l\1r Simms I have Selected a Tract of land for the Children of my Dec 11 Brother lying on the East side of the Brassos adjoining what is Called Negro :Moore between his tract and ]rfr Grace's Boatwright place, :My brother Jonathan's two sons that Came out last spring applied to Co 1 Coles last Sum- mer for a peace of Vacant land that lies between the l\ifillicans Tracts and the RiYer and my land. it is a Very odd shape, some very good land it is only a Fraction between those lines but by Runing a league it has to Run back into the Postoak woods be- yond all the l\1illican.Tracts, Mr Simms says that no Survey Can be made for less than n league the Boys has paid :Mr Sims for Surveying it, but they do not wish to pay for only 2 quarter leagues, and they want to known of _you if it Cannot be divided in a way to have it in a better shape you will please to write me a few lines on the Subject when you are at leasure • JAMES vV I:IITF.SIDE [Addressed:] Co 1 Stephen F Austin St Felipe De Austin
