This Agreement entered into this first day of [August] 1824 be- tween Thomas \Vestall one of the settlers in the new Colony formed by Stephen F Austin in the Province of Texas, and said S. F. Austin witnesses, that said vV estall has this day hired to said Austin four negros to wit Lucy, Patsy, Elsy and Henry untill the first day of January Eighteen hundred and twenty Six, for which the Enid Austin agrees to pay to said \Vestn.11 at the rate of one hundred and Eighty
