Austin has this day given me authority to sell his negro man Richmond for the Sum of Six hundred and fifty Dollars (as the minimum price)- One hundred Dollars of the proceeds of said negro is to be appropriated to pay said Austin's note of this date for that sum, the balance to be paid over to the order·of said S.
