DEAR. SoN I intended writing sundry Other letters but as I am still a little unwell I Shall write by mail. When you are in the Village be so good as to call on Mess- De Pester and De Mun and request them to give you a Statement of my a/c for a Barrell of Sugar a.nd· Salt I had of [them] and also the Weight of a load of lead I sent them I shall Expect them to allow me for the Lead 475 it being the price at Herculaneum If they will not give that price you· will take away all the Lead ex[ce]pt [as much as] will pay for the Sugar and Salt but if they give 475 you may lett It remain subject to my Order- :M AusTIN [Rubric] the letter for Mr Barton be so good as to. deliver and ask him: for an answer.
