CERTIFICATE OF SCHOLARSHIP AND CONDUCT This certifies that the bearer Stephen F. Austin has been a member of this Institution and a Boarder in my family, most of the time, for Three Years past. As a Scholar he has been obedient and studious; as a boarder, unexceptionable. Having passed acceptably the public examinations, and having during the whole period sustained a good MORAL character, he is judged worthy of this honorary testimonial.
